Made in early 1900's, originally from a South Oak Bay home here in Victoria. Made out of first growth fir, original hardware and glass. Comes apart in 2 sections for easy moving. Made in Ontario, circa 1860, original glass panes. The drawers have been rebuilt, original knobs in place. This corner cabinet has a flat bach which allows it to be displayed flat on a wall or use in a corner. This is such a rare piece, made in New Brunswick, circa 1860. This was built as a chest on chest, comes apart in two sections, but they are designed to stay together. Absolutely beautiful... hand cut dovetailing, orginal strap hinges, and all orginal hand turned knobs. This is Canadiana at it's best .The proportions on this are perfection, measures 39" wide, 19" deep, and 39" high.
